Positive: I don't know the layout of Charleston but this felt a little more outside the city than it looked on the map. Fine. The place was clearly popular as every room was full. The staff were super nice and the pool was big. The rooms were fine.

Positive: The location was very quiet which we appreciated. No street noise and no noise in the hallway. We were on the 3rd floor beside the stairs. We liked the size of the rooms and the breakfast was tasty. The rooms were affordable.
Negative: Found that the cleaning was a bit lacking. We booked two rooms which were initially across the hall from each other but one of the rooms had a VERY strong odor … maybe from food being cooked in there previously? The couch had a big stain on it and something had been spilled all down the side of it and not wiped off. We did request another room which we were given. In the other room there were similar issues. Although there wasn’t an odor, something had been spilled down the wall near the bed and not wiped off. The bathroom could have used a little more attention … there was some hair on the floor, dust had collected on the door and obviously not wiped off for a while. The couch could have used a good wipe down and/or vacuum.
Summary: Overall it was pleasant. Would probably stay there again.
